The Spring Hill Acres Home Owners Association (SHAHA) Board held an official meeting 5/28/2025, the board’s first meeting after the election of the board members in mid-May.
The first order of business was to elect the officers, as specified by the bylaws.
They are:
- Bill Forker, President
- Mark Crawford, Vice President
- Bob Dowd, Treasurer
- Carl Stump, Secretary
The board discussed the HOA-owned land and emergency exit issues. The HOA owns the land that the emergency exit crosses between Hickory and Penryn Lanes. The board is investigating options concerning the use and maintenance of the emergency exit roadway, as well as options for the land ownership. There were a number of options raised by residents at earlier meetings, as well as on the Facebook page. The board will consider the various options in regards to best interests of the Spring Hill Acres residents. Viable options/alternatives will be presented to the members/owners at a later meeting. The board is in the early phases of this investigation and evaluation process and will be sure to make a comprehensive evaluation of the options available.
The board discussed how to best communicate with members and owners regarding our progress and findings. Plans are to create a Spring Hill Acres website where information and updates can be posted. While for the benefit for the members/owners, the site will be open to the public. Communication via email will also be considered, perhaps through the website or separately.
