The SHAHA Board held a meeting 8/27/2025.
The minutes from the 7/23/2025 meeting were approved.
Old Business:
Guest Rich Stichter attended as an expert on the history of the emergency access issue. He recounted what actions, conversations and meetings that occurred in light of possible directions to take concerning the emergency exit plot.
There has been no response from the attorney that was approached to represent the HOA. Therefore, there is no attorney on retainer at present and no legal actions were taken. The board is pursuing legal representation and is defining what legal course is needed.
New Business:
Alleged documents filed against the emergency exit property deed. To sell the property it would be necessary to have this issue legally resolved. We are looking into a cost estimate of legal action necessary.
Verification that SHAHA has YMCA right-of-way to Penryn Road is needed, as the YMCA owns a small strip of land between SHA and Penryn Road.
The treasurer reported the current HOA balance. A full Treasurer’s Report will be provided at the next Membership meeting.
Performing a membership survey through the HOA website was decided against.
Action Items:
- The treasurer will provide insurance policy coverage confirmation.
- Deed restrictions will be drafted for board review and possible legal actions.
- The quit-claim deed information will be gathered for the board to review.
- An email will be sent to all known member email addresses to inform of the HOA website (www.SpringHillAcres.org) existence and to ask members to subscribe to the website.
- Any files in the public Google Drive location that has personal information of any members will be removed for privacy reasons.
Next Board Meeting: Thursday September 25 at 7:00pm via Google Meet
