The SHAHA Board held a meeting 3/25/2026.

The minutes from the 2/23/2026 board meeting were approved with changes.

There was no treasurer’s report; but, it was noted that expenditures for the month were minimal.

Old Business:

Fran Sparrow was welcomed as a new board member, filling a recent vacancy.

The board discussed the informative packet to be distributed to all homeowners which included information concerning the Spring Hill Acres website as the primary form of communication; 2026 dues amount and due date; deed restriction non-enforcement; the legal complaint contesting ownership of the emergency exit tract of land; and, the 2025 Treasurer’s Report. The board felt that this information would be important for all homeowners, especially any homeowners who had not attended the 2/4/2026 Membership Meeting. The imformation packets were planned to be distributed homeowners by hanging them on mailboxes over the next few days. It was decided to post the packet information to the HOA Website and to post a link to the website article on the Spring Hill Acres Facebook page.

The board was informed that Atty Gemmill had no opportunity to take further action concerning the emergency exit tract and that Atty Coyle of Buzgon Davis, Lowell Hartzell’s attorney, had not taken any recent actions or corresponded. The board will direct Atty Gemmill to take appropriate legal actions to move the emergency exit tract issue towards resolution.

A letter addressed to Cornwall Borough and PennDot asking for a blinking yellow light and other changes at the Rt 72 main entrance has been written; but, the board is checking to see what cmmunications were held previously before sending the letter.

New Business:

The President agreed to contact PennDot about repairing potholes on Rt 72 near the SHA entrance prior to the upcoming resurfacing project.

The meeting was adjourned.

Next Board Meeting: Wednesday 4/29 at 7pm via Google Meet
