Motorists in the Cornwall area will encounter a different overnight detour each night from Sunday through Tuesday as crews mill and pave on the state Route 72 (Quentin Road) and U.S. Route 322 resurfacing project, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said Wednesday.

The detours will be in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting. Only one detour will be in place at a time, PennDOT said. All roads will reopen to normal traffic by 6 a.m.

The work affects North Cornwall and West Cornwall townships and Cornwall Borough.
